Boones Landing formerly Big Bone Landing

It is with mixed feelings that we announce our retirement.  For the past 13 years we have tried to provide recreational experiences for families in order that they can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Ohio River Valley and the surrounding Boone County. We have enjoyed providing our services and meeting many great people. We will always keep fond memories of our time at Boone’s Landing (Big Bone).

As a result of our retirement, Boone County Parks will be taking over the management of the facility.  We will be working with Boone County during this transition.

We want to thank everyone for their patronage, support and friendship.  

Hours of operations:

  • The ramp remains open 24/7 for boaters to launch boats. Cost is $6.00 We have a season pass for $60.00.
  • Please take extra time to space out while waiting to load boats into the water. Stay off the ramp if others are loading or unloading to avoid crowding. Wait until the courtesy dock is clear of others.
  • Our restrooms are now open for the 2022 season.  A Port-A-Let will remain on site as well. 
  • Our boat rentals will be open beginning May 22, 2020. Call for reservations.
  • Our Fishing area is open 7AM to 8:30PM.  Cost is $4.00 per person. 
  • Boone County is currently evaluationg staff requirements before determining if they will open the campgrounds in 2022. At this time, the campgrounds are closed until this decision is made.
